Dr. Robert Jewett has been Guest Professor of New Testament at the University of Heidelberg since 2000, following 20 years at Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary as Professor of New Testament Interpretation. His distinguished career as a prolific researcher and dominant thinker in biblical hermeneutics and cultural criticism brings recognition as a world leader in the writings of Paul. Among his many honors are three honorary doctorates, and The John G. Cawelti Book Award of the American Culture Association (2003), for his book, The Myth of the American Superhero as the "Best Book of 2002".
