Whether a student is seeking ordination or training in lay ministry, whether for career or personal fulfillment, whether full-time or part-time, their journey is guided by world-class faculty in a community of support and inspiration.
Through The Chalmers Institute for Continuing Education and Congregational Development, people can hear world-renowned speakers or take part in life-changing workshops.
We are able to offer this education of excellence due, in large part, to the financial support of friends of VST.
Giving Opportunities:
- Annual Fund: your gift will be used to support present needs
- Bursary Funds: your gift will provide financial aid for students
- Special Projects: your gift can be directed to a special project or initiative
- Archives Building Fund: you can help build a new Archives to house the history of VST, the Diocese of New Westminster and Province of BC and Yukon, and the United Church BC Conference (the Bob Stewart Archives)
- Community Programs: your gift can be directed to support programs such as the Peter Kaye Lectures, the Somerville Events, or the Distinguished Speaker Series
- Endowment Funds: gifts to endowment are invested to support the future strength and vitality of the School
