Director of Presbyterian Formations
Glen served as a missionary among the Korean minority in Japan for 15 years. He speaks Korean and Japanese fluently. He spent 18 years as a mission administrator in the national office of The Presbyterian Church in Canada and was General Secretary of the program agency of that church. His mission involvements and ecumenical partnership work took him to more than 50 countries and he has led mission-awareness tours to East Asia, Africa and Central America. He has visited all 46 presbyteries of the PCC as preacher, mission speaker and conference leader. He served congregations as pastor both in Japan and in Canada, and was elected Moderator of the General Assembly of the PCC in 2000. He holds M. Div. and D.D. degrees from the Presbyterian College at McGill, and a M.Th. from Knox College. He is now serving as the Presbyterian Director for Denominational Formation at the Vancouver School of Theology. Glen and Joyce have three children and seven grandchildren.
