| “Behold! We Are Many, We Are One: An Intercultural Conference”
May 12-15, 2011 The United Church of Canada’s intercultural conference will take place in May 2011 at Vancouver School of Theology. The gathering builds on the success of the Behold! intercultural event in Toronto, 2008, and the RiverRunning regional event in Winnipeg, 2009. Event Website Keynote Speakers The Rev. Eric H.F. Law is the founder and executive director of the Kaleidoscope Institute for Competent Leadership in a Diverse Changing World, a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles. Dr. Carol B. Duncan is Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Religion and Culture at Wilfrid Laurier University. Dr. José Zárate is the Coordinator of the Indigenous Communities and Latin America and Caribbean Development Program for The Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF) of The Anglican Church of Canada. Degree Credit Option If you attend the entire Behold conference, you can register for degree credit through Vancouver School of Theology’s Registrar (link to registrar@vst.edu). VST is an ATS accredited school that offers graduate level academic credit for a course built around the conference; this credit can be transferable for students from other schools, depending on the home school’s policies.
