Guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms and linen service are available year-round in the historic and beautifully renovated Iona Building. We are not a hotel, but rather, our guest rooms are located in a separate wing of the Iona building and have their own entrance.

Check-in

Begins at 3:00 PM. The reservation confirmation email gives instructions for checking in after office hours. Check-out time is 10:00 AM.

Parking

Parking is available in a VST visitor’s spot with a parking pass that should be requested when booking. See a printable map of the UBC campus.

Payment

Payment will be processed on arrival, or on Friday for weekend check-ins, using the credit card that was provided for the reservation, unless other arrangements are made in advance. We accept VISA, MasterCard, debit, or exact cash in Canadian currency.

Cancellation Policy

Rooms are subject to a one-night charge if cancellation is received within 48 business hours of arrival date.

Amenities

We provide hand soap; you may purchase shampoo, toiletries, and food and beverages on campus. Maps are available in each room.

Food Services

Rooms contain information about nearby coffee shops and restaurants.

Laundry

Coin-operated laundry machines and an ironing board are located on the 4th floor.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not permitted in the building. Guests who smoke will be charged an additional night’s rate.

Pets

Pets are not permitted with the exception of certified service dogs for the disabled.
